Rosann is a 1971 graduate of Campbell County High School; she received her Bachelor of Science degree in 1975 from Eastern Kentucky University and her Masters of Education in 1976 also from EKU. Rosann taught both middle and high school math for 32 years at Dayton High School. She retired in May of 2008 and ran for school board the following November. Her husband, Tim, who was the Tech “guy” for Dayton Schools in the first years of technology in Kentucky schools, passed away in 2007 from Parkinson’s disease. Rosann has no biological children, but has hundreds of children that she has taught – many who have remained close. She now enjoys volunteering at Lincoln Elementary and Dayton High School five mornings each week and has been a One-to-One Reader the past two years. When she is not at school, Rosann enjoys spending time with her “two girls” – Leana and Adriana. She also enjoys reading, sewing, crafts, and travelling – when she has time.
